I have tried it out, and do not like it. It slows your computer down to a crawl. Plus, every time you log onto windows, you need to log into your aol account, otherwise you can't run the security center. The AOL security center is powered by McAfee AntiVirus, and they are the single worst antivirus company out there. I have had countlesss problems with them. Stay away from the aol security center and mcafee. I recommend avg free, which is free with free updates forever. Go to free.grisoft.com for a copy. Hope this helps!

Yes , AOL comes with a great firewall a good antivirus and a spyware remover. So security wise it is a fine Not I hate AOL for 1 reason. Their service is extremely slow. I remember their fist AOL a few years ago to be very slow well since the speed has increase just a little bit. That's the price to pay to have all the goodies who loads with AOL.

Good luck,

Joe.

AOL is a very good anti-virus service. However, it can be very slow. I recommend Avast which is also free and very good. http://www.avast.com or http://www.grisoft.com With either service you will need a firewall. http://www.zonealarm.com All programs mentioned above are free and very good choices. God Bless.
