Jack Sparrow made a bet with Davey Jones: his soul to be captain of a ship. After 13 years, Dave Jones comes looking for Jack to take his soul, for 100 years of servitude. Meanwhile, the East India Trading Company comes to Port Royal, and arrests Elizabeth. Will is sent to find Jack and get his compass (it points to what the holder wants most). Jack wants to find the chest of Davey Jones so that he can stab the heart and control him, but he is confused as to what it is that he wants. The man Beckett (the E. I. T. Co. guy) wants the same thing. In the end, Jack, Will and Liz team up to get the chest so that Davey Jones can be defeated, but they are outwitted by Norrington, who steals the heart and delivers it to Beckett. At the end Davey Jones' beast, Kraken, find Jack and kills him..............or so we thought. The third one comes out Memorial Day weekend 2007!

So Davy Jones brought up the Black Pearl from the depths for Jack, but he owed him a debt for it. He never paid it, and he had 3 days before the kraken went to claim him, because Jones also makes a deal with him that he can deliver 100 souls in 3 days, and he gave Will to him, so he has 99 more to go. This is also how Will meets his father, and gets the key to the dead man's chest. Also, at the beginning, the East India Trading company wants to give full pardon to Elizabeth, Will, and Jack (Elizabeth and Will helped jack who is a fugitive) in exchange for Jack's compass, which can find anything you want with it, and Lord Beckkett wants to find the heart of Davy Jones to control the sea. Jack is trying to find the Dead Man's Chest, which has the heart of Jones, and the only way to kill Jones is the destroy the heart. Also, at the end, since Jack got eaten by the kraken, his friends will sail to the ends of the eartj to save him and the Pearl, and Barbossa will be their captain. Dun...dun...dunnnnn........

i think the pnt u didnt understand was at the end right? when johnny depp is dead and they all agree to save him and bring him back to life after he was eaten by a monster? ..

There's nothing to get... it's just half a movie they put out so you'd dish out to see the 3rd movie... Ashamed as I am to say it... I gotta know how it ends. (Even though I'm pretty sure I know what happens.)

pirates of the carribbean is the best movie EVER!! it's all about davey jones cursing jack, and how they have to stop him. it's amazing!
