I've been divorced for almost 4 years and have a 5yr. old son. My family is really religious and it's frowned upon not to be married.

My boyfriend and I have been together for 2 years. He actually wants to get pregnant. We talked about it last year and getting pregnant wasn't an option

You are not in this world to live up to anyone else's expectations.....Do what you feel is right for you and your son - ultimately you need to live with the decision. Good Luck

I think the bigger issue is why do you want to get pregnant. Do you have a partner that also wants a baby? Are you doing it just for a playmate? or because you remember how great babies are? Are you willing to listen to the judgement from your family? I think that why you want this baby and how much you are willing to sacrifice for this child is what you really need to be asking yourself.

You must look inward to answer the question. Is it right for you? How is the father going to relate with the child? Or is he going to be simply a sperm donor? Only you can answer the question. I can offer an opinion. No, not unless you have a strong relationship with the father and want his involvement afterward.

If you have been together for 2 years, why don't the two of you share wedding vows, then get pregnant.If he isn't willing to get married chances are he will not be there for either you or the baby.Get maaried first, you will see that it will be better.

I take it you want another? Don't get pregnant for the sake of getting pregnant. You should be married and committed to that relationship. A child needs BOTH of their parents in their lives and it helps immensely if they love one another.

If you want your parent's help babysitting when you need it. Best not to displease then by getting pregency again. Get marry first and then you will have a reliable and loving husband to watch your newborn child.

No. If you must expand your family, why not look into adoption? There are lots of unfortunate children out there without parents.

getting pregnant wouldnt help, you shouldnt bring a child into the world because it would be frownd appon not to get married, children need love and support. x

if you are dating someone and you two are serious and love each other and want a child then go for it. but if you don't want to dishonor your family, then wait until you get married. follow your heart!

U can enjoy sex with som contraceptives but dont try to be pregnant... it sees not be a good.
