Your queston is a bit ambiguous,
if you mean is salt essential to all living organisms answer is no, not to all of them, but it is very important for many of them.
About the other part of your question, if you mean are there certain organisms who live in extremely salty environments,
there is a certain type of organisms among the Archaea domain, which are called halophyles(meaning "salt-lovers") who live in these extremely salty environments ...hope this helps...
