I have been feeling really funny lately... for weeks actually and I don't know what's going on. Everyone around keeps saying I'm pregnant, but I got my period so I don't think I am. But some people including my cousin and mom said they had gotten there's and was pregnant. Did anyone else ever go through this? Did any of you have your period and still be pregnant? Was it like a regular period or what? Did any of you take a pregnancy test and it come out negative but you still ended up pregnant?

Yes, some women get their "period" even though they are pregnant but it is by no means a normal period. It is lighter in flow and usually shorter in length.

Yes, you can have a negative pregnancy test (especially home pregnancy tests) and still be pregnant. Had negative home pregnancy tests but was really pregnant.

Truth of the matter is, no one but the doctor can tell you if you are pregnant. The symptoms do not matter as many women do not experience any at all and some that do, have a positive pregnancy test before they have any of the symptoms. And, others experience symptoms because they are either afraid of being pregnant or they want so badly to be pregnant. However, the very first symptom, will usually be a missed period. So go to your doctor for a blood pregnancy test which is far more sensitve than a urine pregnancy test.

Good luck!
