Hollister and Abercrombie are owned by the same company. Don't they realize that Hollister has the same exact clothes as Abercrombie, but a little bit cheaper and has a little seagull?

i don't really know.
i prefer Hollister to Abercrombie. I know there isn't really a difference. but i do prefer the colors that hollister makes their clothes in. Hollister logo T's aren't as trashy.
I always feel awkward going into abercrombie, like it's a cool kids club and i wasn't invited; it's kind of intimidating.
i really have no idea why i like it better, i just do.
Hollister probably just has better marketing, it's more available to people.

I used to think that too, becuase of the slutty lifestyle that Abercrombie represents. Plus, many people prefer the seagull to the moose.
Another reason is, it's just "in" for some reason to hate abercrombie. But Hollister for some reason is ok.

Well, A&F is a lot less reasonable in their prices than Hollister, and most of the people that would be shopping at either one are teenagers that dont have all that much extra money usually. Even though they are quite alike, they have really diff. styles and hollister has more trendy stuff that's targeted towards teens. Like Hollister is the west coast beachy style and A&F is more upscale east coast-ish.

I think those people might be turned off for many reasons. They might dislike the price of Abercrombie's things. Either that or they don't like how outwardly preppy their clothes can be. Hollister's kind off preppy, but not as much as Abercrombie.

I like Hollister better because they have better advertising than Abercrombie. Abercrombie (and Fitch) has bad (bad ;( like weird) advertising. But i like Hollister cause it's a beachy theme too.

I think most people that say they hate is abercrombie are just jealous because they can't afford the clothes or they don't like the people at their school that wear abercrombie clothes.

people hate abercrombie and places like that because they have time on their hands. trust me, there are so many other things in life that you can hate. why waste all that time angry at a store? i think it is just the rich person label that comes from shopping at abercrombie, though. besides, beach people are more laidback anyway...lol... the thing that gets me is that whole recruiting employee thing. i don't think i could ever work at abercrombie because they wouldn't pick me.

Abercrombie are for preps. I wear both but Hollister IS WAYYY better.

Hmmm.. to say MOST is a strong statement. I know ppl that LOVE Hollister but hate American Eagle... it's small differences in style and the kinds of ppl that tend to wear the brands as to who likes what...

they probably just can't afford abercrombie and fitch, so they say they hate it as an excuse for not owning it. they truely are the same clothes, same company.
