If you have played it on the gamecube or wii -> do you know if it is like Majora's Mask - in the sense that it is a timed game? Or is it more like Ocarina of Time in that you could run around Hyrule field for days while Princess Zelda is trapped in some life threatening situation...?
I am just curious because I wouldnt look into the game if it was too much like Majora's Mask - I am sorry, but timed games urk me - and the thought of a new Zelda game was rather exciting...

It is more like Ocarina of Time. You are fighting a growing darkness that has spread across Hyrule. It is a great game that many are calling "The spiritual successor to Ocarina of Time.

It's an amazing game. From what I've heard, if you can get it for the Wii, do it, cause the GameCube verson isn't as good.
It's very detailed and long like Ocarina, not timed like Majora's Mask. Also, Ocarina is often listed as the best game of all time on many lists, but most reviews have said that this game is even better, so that should give you some idea.
I'm playing it for the Wii, and I can't wait to play some more.
