I mean for Christmas. I've bought him an expensive shirt, too, but I want to buy something else without spending a lot of money. We're almost 16. Is a teddy bear too much of a girly gift?

not in the least my deceased wife called me " her cuddly little teddy bear " so She gave me several.

Yes a bit weird. Unless they like teddy's bear's. But other wise its weird.

Unless you know he likes stuffed animals, I would say no on the teddy bear. I'd say bake him something, or give him a framed photo of the two of you if you want to give him something sentimental.

Yes. It's too wussy of a gift for a guy. There are plenty of cheap alternatives. The shirt is good, though!
Try instead:
Men's cologne that you like
DVD of a movie you both like
CD
Framed pic of you two together
box of corndogs

i think thats a great idea, as long as he is usually cuddily with you. he should be a soft type of guy, the kind that do the sweet things. im 15, and my boyfriend is like that, and for our 1 year anni, i got him a stuffed animal [[along with some other things]] but he had never had a stuffed animal before. he says he thinks of me everytime he sees it and hugs it when he wants to hug me. anyway, i think its cute and a good idea. and that shirt will be his favorite =]
