I mean for Christmas. I've bought him an expensive shirt, too, but I want to buy something else without spending a lot of money. We're almost 16. Is a teddy bear too much of a gift for a girl?

Yes it's a little weird, my wife bought a small one with a B on it for our 6 months of going out. We still talk about it, but in a good way. Shirts/cloths can get old and he'll never wear it again but the bear will still be there years down the track.

If you are still in the "lovey-dovey-smoochie-can't keep your hands off eachother" stage then yes a teddy bear would be good. Especially when you spray it with the perfume you always wear when you're together.

absolutely it is NOT weird. this is a sick world and the macho crap is over the top so sensitivity and intimacy is always on the back burner. change the world... give him the teddy bear. he wont be the 1st nor last guy to get one.

I did that for the first year anniversary of dating with my future husband. He was pleasant then but I could tell he hated it. He insists that guys don't get those things. I think it's cute.

Depends on the guy. Some guys would be romantic and sentimental enough to be okay with it, others would think it too wussy.
