I'd like to act, but when I go to an audition I get embarrassed because I feel like I'm over-exaggerating and then don't do as well. Also, I tend to say stupid things around the guys I like. I need help, experienced answerers!

=have your doctor prescribe you an anti-anxiety medication for those special times. Don't abuse it and work with it and it will help you. May actors/actresses/dancers.public speakers and musicians do this.

im not too sure about the audition bit, i think that comes more with practice and at the end maybe u could talk to the pple doing the audition about ur 'problem' and ask them for advice.

about the guy thing, dont try to be someone ur not, i know it sounnds corney but the more u try to act like someone else the more u will stumble and say something stupid. if i ever 'catch' myself saying something stupid, i just pause a tiny bit, then i then to laugh at wat i said ( i guess this depends on what u said in the first place) but if its appropriate, i jsut kinda repeat the keyword in the embaressing sentence, laugh say something like 'omg haha sorry (keep on laughing), stop, and continue with the convo. its also a good sign if they do a little giggle too. but the main point im trying to make is yeah be urself, be prepared to be able to laugh at ur self, and show that u can move on from something embaressing and not be too fussed about it.

hope this helps :) if not well....i tried lol
