hi! I have 4 kids and many nieces and nephews. So far, 12. and probably 5 more! Lets say 17!

Depends on the size of each present and the amount of presents and the size of the roll of the tape and how thick it is and how wide it is and the length. But use as much tape as you need to for each present to look nice and covered!

I have had the same roll for my second year now. I tend to buy larger priced gifts and not so many of them.
When i was living at home with the rentals, I wrapped all the gifts and we went through like 3 of those double rolls.

not only the size of the gifts but the size of the roll of tape. but this year went through about four rolls

not even one, in fact it takes me about 2 or 3 x-mas' to go through a roll of tape.
