Don't tell them. Just practice your surprised look when you open it. You are so lucky to get a PS3 or Wii.

Man, that sucks. You really, really shouldn't have done that. You naughty. But if it was an accident on Christmas I won't blame you. But since it seemed like you did it on purpose and on CHRISTMAS, I'm going to be nice.
You should rewrap it again with the same type of wrapping paper when your parents aren't looking. If I were you, I wouldn't tell them yet instead on Christmas morning open it and look as if you haven't ever seen it before with a surprised look. Then, after you open it maybe you can tell your parents, "Geez, I really like this present, but I feel this is a bit too expensive? Should we return it back to the store if we can still? I'm sorry, but isn't this a bit too much?" Yeah, something like that. HOW MUCH WAS IT ANYWAYS??? If it was a PS3, you are one SUPER lucky person. GEEEEEZZZZ. Just don't peek again to not be naughty!

This is a little different but a couple years ago my mom set out such a temptation, she had all the wrapped presents in boxes out in the open with just blankets over them! I couldn't help myself.
Also I saw one thing in my mom's shopping cart once at the store and then on Christmas morning I had to act surprised. Don't tell your parents, only a week till Christmas.
It's better to wait till Christmas to see your presents, leave it a surprise, resist!!

i saw my presents last year, and i almost got cut. my mom came upstairs in a matter of seconds after i looked at them. i know that if my parents knew about it, they probably wouldn't have givin them to me at all, or they would have waited until my birthday. i wouldn't tell your parents! besides, that's one of the fun parts of christmas, right? grown-ups are clueless.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. You keep your mouth shut and do not ruin the fun for them. And do NOT EVER do that again. Merry Christmas!
