Go to Claire's, Icing, Wal*Mart, K-Mart, or her favorite girly girl store......find a really cute purse that she would LOVE......find really nice little things, earrings, makeup, lip gloss, perfume, cute matching wallet, watch, and just a bunch of goodies that little girls like....FILL THE WHOLE PURSE UP! you could spend like only $25 getting a lot of stuff she'd love....beleive me thats what I wanted when I was at that age.....

Music wise, Gwen Stefani is popular right now and JoJO. Fergie is popular but I would get a edited version because of language. Body glitter, and lip glosses are cool and all kids love gift cards to places like Target, Walmart etc...Purses and hair stuff is good too

But as an answer to your question get her a gift certificate to a hot store, like American eagle, esprit (my personal favorite) bluenotes, garage, old navy (hate thAT store), GAP (again hate the store), get her a gucci or prada bag or sunglasses or hat or an acseessory etc... also ask her, she'll know her favorite clothing store, and thats what i'm asking for christmas and i'm a 13 year old girl.
I like Anna Nalick, And Gwen Stefany is not liked person earlier... Some girls about 10 or 11 like Hilary Duff, but not a 14 year old.. Suddenly I see the hit song by KT Tunstell is popular.... umm find out if she likes single artists or bands. Pop, rap, punk rock, jazz, classical??? etcc... what do you know about your daughter.

giftcards galore (especially starbucks!), cell phone, ipod nano, gilmore girls season dvds, a gift certificate to get her nails done, .....it kinda depends on how you are related to the girl and how big of a gift you would like to purchase her!!
some listen to country, and some good albums would be the new keith urban cd, martina mcbride christmas album, etc....that is what my daughter wants!!

Try a visa gift card, it's pretty much cash. BTW..different 14 year olds listen to different stuff.

All my daughter's 15-year-old half-sister wanted was a gift card to American Eagle, a gift card to Abercrombie & Fitch, and a gift card for iTunes.

anyways, it all depends but don't get her clothes, makeup if you don't know what she likes.
