No and it doesn't matter

Not positive, but I really don't think so. If there were a way, I doubt they would go through all of that trouble.

Most counselors will say apply to 3-5 colleges...definitely throw in a safe school and also a harder one, one which would be a high goal.

No, I don't think they check, though I suppose among certain circles they could probably ask each other if they wanted to...??? I don't think it matters. I'd think no more than 8-10 schools would be desirable. A few "reaches", some "likelies" and a couple of "safeties." Best of luck to you!
