I actually found out the day before I was due for AF. Since you say that you just started trying, I am guessing that you were on some form of BC before. That may be causing you to be late, or maybe you actually ovulated later than expected so it's not showing up just yet. I hope that you are though and good luck. Hope this week flies by for you.

I tested the day after my missed period. But I knew the day before my missed period. I could feel some changes in my uterus!
Usually within two minutes. Mine was dull, but it was a plus.
Buy another test and test first thing in the morning with your concentrated pee from overnight. This will have the most pregnancy hormone in it.
I always used cheap drugstore brands, but some people suggest buying more expensive tests and that they are more accurate..but like i said, in my case..cheap ones worked fine.
Be sure you are taking it correctly too. Read and re-read the directions. If it says hold downstream for five seconds, hold it in the flow for five seconds. When you are done, put the cap on and lay it on a level surface.
Good luck, i'm sure you are pregnant.
Congrats!

I got a postitive result as soon as being two days away from my period. I have four healthy babies, many more pregnancies that did not end in a baby and in all these instances, I got a postitive results within a week of the conception. These are good tests that are out now.
GOOD LUCK!
