Phone BMW Customer services at their head office. If you give them the reg number of the car they will be able to tell you about every visit to a BMW dealership.
They won't be able to tell you what was done on each visit, but they can give you the dealers contact details and if you then phone the dealer, they will tell you how many spark plugs were replaced and what was in the mechanics lunch box on the day it was in.
This is a very useful service that I wish other manufacturers would offer. I researched this info before I bought a 323i Coupe earlier this year. They told me about an engine change under warranty that was not documented in the paperwork with the vehicle.
If you can get all this info then there is no need to see a dealer stamp on a log book. If you do want to see that, then get yourself down the pub and ask about. You'd be amazed at how many log books get dealer stamps the easy way.
Service lights can be reset using a paperclip, so don't rely on them either.
Why take the chance when a phone call can put your mind at rest.

Most BMW's have a service due warning light/info that a service is due. This can normally be reset by the dealers input on completion of the car service. Therefore BMW have on computer record, the full service record of the vehicle. If the dealer is reluctant to help or as is usual, can't be bothered, you have a legal right to obtain YOUR SERVICE RECORDS for your vehicle. The RAC legal dept offers good and very often free telephone advice.I've tried them when I had similar prob. Most reputable BMW dealers tho, shouldn't give you any trouble. They have to be wary tho of vehicle fraud and a changed vehicles identity so bear that in mind. If you've known dealer for sometime, shouldn't be any probs, JUST ASK, won't bite - I hope !!! A.B.

Yes. It is. One need only read it with sincerity and real intent to discover its truths to be able to determine that. Jesus Christ is mentioned some 6,000 times in the 500 page book. It is indeed another testament of Christ's divinity. To learn the truth about the Book of Mormon, one can apply the promise made to us by that Book's final author, And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. I have done this and found my answer. the Book of Mormon is the word of God. You can find that same answer if you seek it.

If you use the same ddealer for your services then they will have records as they are required by law to keep them for 5 years in the uk, just explain the problem to them and they should be able to sort it for you
