You would need to check each ornament individually as the salt could erode the paint and cause problems with the fish and environment.
Better if you can find ornaments made especially for salt water tanks;

You have to be very careful what you put in a salt water tank. I sterilized everything that I put in mine. I never used any of my freshwater ornaments in mine. I would suggest sticking to coral, shells or anything else for salt water.

It depends on the ornaments.

*Do not put cured coral in freshwater (it will cause pH problems for many fish)

*Do not place driftwood/Mangowood in Saltwater (it will lower the pH)

*Most plastic and silk plants are safe for both

*Most ceramics are safe for both

*Most artificial Corals such as "Deco Coral"

no there's no difference, just make sure the salt water ones are heavy enough to stay at the bottom
