They would buy it if they were the ruling party. They are delaying everything -as they have a slight majority in the Legislative Yuan-in order to make the ruling party look bad.

They don't want to buy the missiles because the KMT and the GCD ("Gong Chang Dang", Communist party), are trying to work together to ensure that China is the next superpower. By not buying the missiles from the US, the GCD is happy and the KMT proves that they are willing to work with the GCD to make China stronger.

Mainly because the KMT hates anything to do with DPP. Over the years the KMT has had a 180 degree turn-around. They used to hate Communist China, now they love them. All that because they are not the ruling party.

Because they are not the ruling party. They have to try to save face buy stopping everything Pres. Chen and the DPP propose. They cannot admit to losing the presidential election twice by allowing DPP proposed initiatives to pass the KMT led Parliament.

What missles are you talking about? "Patriot"? " Who needs them", said the President of Pakistan, a 3rd world country. Bush treats Taiwan as a sucker by forcing to buy weapons at exorbitant prices. Instead of buying "Patriot - a fancy toy", it is more effective in planting bannana tress on every available parcel of land in limiting damage and fatalities in case of war breakout. If USA is so concerned with Taiwan security, why selling fancy missles instead of giving away.

Any way why Taiwan need missile?
and if we need ,
Why should we buy any missiles/weapons from USA ?
We'd rather buy it from any where but USA ,
and USA used to use Taiwan to against China
Since China is getting stronger and stronger ,
now USA treat Taiwan like ****.
