What does your rental contract say? it is a 50/50 option. Some like mowing a shoveling snow. If you owned your own home, you would be doing it all. Ask your landlord - what they perfer, of couse they will love it if you do it. On showy days, it is not always reasonable to have a landlord come over and shovel the steps, so you may want to do that for your own benifit....But ask your landlord, and look in your rental agreement. Good Luck and Happy Holidays to you.
