am I the only one who thinks it is out of control?

I absolutely agree it is getting out of control.
Dont get mad at me but i think Christmas gifts spoil kids.
They ALWAYS want what they want and if you dont give it to them, they're all mad. I know they are young, and in school teachers tell them about the REAL spirit of Christmas, but DO THEY REALLY THINK THAT'S IT?? They kinda get the fact that they need to EARN their present(kinda?).

It is out of control. Practice is modelled after the 3 wise men bringing gifts to the birth of Christ. Has really been built by the American society/media into much more. It is not reflective of its origins anymore.

it is out of control. some guy almost ran me over in the parking lot to like get to jcpennys sale. i dont know what the big deal is. :l

it is very much out of control...its very sad to think you have adults fighting in stores over the last toy on the shelf

Well...I give gifts, but I don't go crazy about it.

NEWS FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECIEVE, duh. Try getting yourself to a homeless shelter and see people that will be going WITHOUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
