Just out of curiousity, how many people think that lingerie is a good gift for a man to give to a woman?

Not really a practical question this year, lack of money, I got her a watch that matches some earrings of hers so far and I'm going to get something else that matches it
I do know what parts of her body she doesn't like though, she likes to remind me every chance she gets.

I like getting lingerie as a gift from my husband. It proves that he is still interested. If it is a gift, don't let it be too kinky. Most women prefer pretty and something that down plays the part of her body that she doesn't like. (We all have something.) If you are not sure what to get, go to Victoria's secret the people there like to help.

If it's a wife or girlfriend I would certainly think it would be OK. For a man to buy it for a friend one would have to have a sense of whether or not she would be offended. Pajamas, slippers, or a robe would ---probably--- be pretty safe, other things might be risky. I have 2 or 3 friends I have been buying some VERY sexy lingerie for for months, but in each case I showed them a catalog and asked them what they wanted before I felt comfortable buying it. I certainly have more fun picking something for them than just giving them a gift certificate!

darling, the lingerie buying is for the woman to do. get her a nice bracelet or necklace or even earrings! that will motivate her to buy herself lingerie for YOU.

I love it when guys get me lingerie... just as long as he gets the right size ;). Makes it more exciting for me to wear something he picked out just for me.

Combine it with something she can show her friends and give it to her when you are alone together. (like earrings or perfume)
Make sure it is pretty and not slutty but not flannel either.
