I completely agree with you!!! I am perfectly capable of doing more than one chore, thank you! I belief the answer is much simpler to why *some* teen are lousy at chores. Chores are boring/the teens in question are lazy. Also, it is rubbish because not all teens are bad at chores. Some teens have to do the majority of the house work and they handle it just peachily. (Well, the work gets done, anyhows.)

I can definitely see how this is true. As a fellow teen, some kids out there can barely pay attention during class. Not all of us are like that though (:-D). I do chores, take a shower, get good grades :-). But some (boys especially) can't seem to master those tasks.

i don't think that is complete rubbish. i, like you apparently, didn't have that problem, but i went to school with lots of individuals who fit the bill.
think about your peers at school. not just your friends, but everyone you share a class with. the majority might not conform to this study, but you know at least a few, right?
don't take it so personally. yes the study was generalized poorly. they purposely limited the profiles of the subjects to include preteens and teens, with not one over 20.
i personally know people over 30 i wouldn't trust to talk on the phone while driving, or many other forms of multi-tasking.

yes,i think it was kinda stupid.the reason we dont do chores is because they are boring duhhh! lol seriously if you think chores are fun then you must not get out alot.
