That around 92% of broken eggs in supermarkets are broken because people checked to see if they were broken!
I know it's not a question but just thought I would share that with you.

But what about the other 8%. How do they get broken? Is it the person who checks on the eggs after the people who check for broken eggs who breaks the rest?

I dont believe it, if the eggs are uncracked I buy the box. However there will always be the box at the front that has a cracked egg thats been checked many times.

I've actually done that many times myself, and then watched other people open the carton to see if there were any cracked eggs in it. Pretty funny

I know this..I work for Trader Joe's and I see people jack-up the eggs all the time.

Really, I didn't know that, but makes sense, doesn't it. I've seen people open cartons, then throw them back. No wonder!! What is your favorite belly flavour? mine is banana.
