Eveytime I boot my laptop I have to pull out the wireless card and reinsert it to get a connection. I've checked in device manager and it is enabled and the device drivers are loaded. Card is an air plus G from D link. It works fine once the card is reinserted. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Very typical. It has nothing to do with the D-link card.configuration or drivers. Basically you can bring back the D-Link card and complan there is a bad hardware contact and switch to an USB card at no cost.

It happens all the time.

go to d-link.com and get the update driver if your having probs before you boot just slip out the card and slip it back in after your booted up or uninstall the device save then reboot, place the card in the pcmcia slot and let it puter find it again use the update driver and it should keep the new device drive and when you reboot all should be well
