Yeah, if you have the interview soon, the process is almost over. Good luck. Contact the Embassy. Maybe they can give you some clues on how long it'll take.

As long as you are already scheduled for an interview, it would not be much of a problem. The interview itself would not take more than 5 minutes. What takes long are hundreds of people queuing for the interview and the paper works that need to be processed along the way. They have to submit those forms, then some minor questions along the way, then probably fill up some forms again. At that time we were in the American embassy roughly 3 hours. That was in 1998.

from the time we got our notice that the I-129f was approved it was 4 1/2 months to the interview date. Aug 29th for the approval, Jan 12, 2007 is the interview date. Once you get the appointment letter for the medical and interview schedule she can get the medical at anytime before the date it is scheduled which i recommend. My wife went already for her medical and it is scheduled for Jan 5th.

My wife said her interview only took 5 minutes.
The questions are from the information form you sent in.
How long you knew each other?
How long you visited her?
How you knew each other?
It sounds like the long process is almost over. You should be buying plane tickets soon.
