In 2002, black students at Morgan State University threw Oreo cookies at Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele. It was meant as an insult because he is black.
Although the incident was not widely reported; Lt. Gov. Steele said privately that it hurt him, and he had no illusions as to what the cookies meant.
Students who participated later said that they only threw them "in his direction." Yeah, right.

Harold Ford was running for re election to Congress, and he lost. Some of his supporters were upset over a campaign commercial by his opponent that showed a WHITE Playboy bunny insinuating that Rep. Ford was a regular at the Playboy mansion. There was talk of suing, because the commercial showed Rep. Ford in a bad light.

My but you are persistent. At least this time you spelled Mr. Steele's name correctly. I'll bite, maybe those misfits would be appeased if they threw milk along with the oreo cookies. Now stop being such a misfit.

Haha....back again with the SAME lame question!

I was the one that brought up Ford....funny how you choose to post another question re: same issue....I guess you're one of those people that has to have the last word all the time( How ANNOYING!)

But none-the-less....

Agreed....oreo's were bad...BUT so was that BS crap commercial they aired about FORD.....but you aren't mentioning that.....why is that?

The duplicity of your argument is blatantly clear.

Next!

Because of the double standard. If it happens to a Republican, no issue. This is not the first time. How dare a black person leave the Democrat party? (their words, not mine)

They were the ones throwing them. And wished they could throw them harder or themselves

I agree with Kent. Try phrasing your question using proper grammar then perhaps we'll actually be able to understand what you're asking.

It's questionable if the incident actually occurred.

We wanted the fat conservatives a chance to eat the cookies they so dearly wanted?
