I got this message two days ago.
I tried it again yesterday and my computer was able to boot with no problem.
And, today I tried to start up my computer, I got the same message.

Is my harddisk dying?

Thanks in advance

A dying hard drive or dying HD controller is one possibility. But if your computer is a desktop, try this before assuming the worst: shut down and unplug the computer, open the case, check to make sure that the drives' (plural!) data and power cables are all snugly in place, button things back up, hook the computer up, and start it up again. If you're not comfortable with doing that, engage the services of someone who is. That is, ask a computer-literate friend for help or take it to a shop.

A loose cable could also explain your symptoms, and it's an easier and cheaper fix than swapping out the hard drive (or motherboard, if the disk controller is bad).

It's not Ur hard disk but it is Ur motherboard. The driver might be corrupt try checking with Ur manufacturer.

Hard drive, maybe. Equally likely, the motherboard is failing.
