I am 33 weeks pregnant and my baby normally kicks me to death every day. Today he has only moved maybe 4 times. Should I call my doctor? Someone that has had this problem please answer.

everything should be OK the baby is probably running out of space or its just sleeping as long you feel the baby moving it should be OK. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and that happens to me all the time that i worry about it and end up going to the Dr and she reassures me that the baby is OK its just that she running out of space.

I remember I had that problem with my son. I called the dr and he told me to eat something sweet. Than wait about 15 mins and go lay down. If the baby dosent move or kick well you are laying down I would call the dr might send you for a non stress test.

Normally doctors say to wait a certain amount of time of NO activity before becoming worried. I would call your doc to see how long they think you should wait before getting worried. When I was about 34 weeks, my son had barely moved all day. My doctor who was over cautious had me come in for a fetal distress test. As soon as they hooked me up the baby started kicking and moving. I was so relieved. Take Care and Congrats

While it is probably nothing, I would call my doctor and ask them. They will be able to give you suggestions to get the baby moving and how long you should wait before coming in. They deal with these things all of the time and this is what you are paying them for sweetie. Please just call, even if it is nothing it will have eased your mind and let you get a better nights sleep.

i am 39 weeks and i would say around that time i had the same problem. i asked about it and they said that the baby is still moving but since there is a whole lot less room, we just dont feel it as much. i would still ask ur doctor about it to be sure. sometimes they may ask u to "count kicks". good luck and i am sure all is well!!!!!!

as you get closer to your due date, it is common for the baby to move less as the baby moves closer to the birth canal there is not much room to move, as long as you don't go a day with feeling the baby kick, things should be ok. if you are really worried, call your doctor for reassurance.
good luck!

im 33 weeks as well and have a very active baby normally.today however she slowed down a little bit.i noticed that i am starting to drop so that is probably why yours is slowing down too.however you need to still feel movement or you need to call the doc!try lying down after eating a snack and relax.hell probably start kicking you like crazy!

Wait until tomorrow.. If the baby is still not kicking like he normally does than I would call the Doctor.... They will give you a Non-Stress test to monitor the baby's heartrate, but I would definitely give it until tomorrow.. The same thing happened to me me with my first baby!!! Merry Christmas

I have felt decreased activity as the baby got bigger. I was told he was just turned and was kicking in places I didn't feel as much. If you are worried talk to your doctor that is what they are for.
