I use a dial up to get onto the internet. The computer I am currently on connects with no problem. My other computer has a problem. When I connect with the other computer it says " The computer your dialing in to cannot establish a dial-up networking connection. Check your password, ant then try again. " This is the same user name and password that I use on this computer. I have checked the caps lock, scroll lock, and num lock.

Are you trying to connect to the I-Net at the same time? If so then the ISP is not accepting double connections for the 1 user name and password.
What Dial Up are you using? (ISP)

ok im assuming u have 1 main computer connected to the net useing dialup

and you also are "networking" a 2nd computer to the main computer (networking = UTP cables, a HUB & NIC cards or special USB connections (you should be able to see inside each computer))

and now you want to connect to the internet from your 2nd pc via the main

(note: you DO NOT dial up from your second pc...it automatically connects through the main).

1. Firstly you have to "allow internet connection shareing" from your main pc. if you "networked and have internet sharing" then the 2nd pc should connect no problem, just click on Internet explorer (the main pc must be always on)

2. if you want to connect your 2nd pc to the net via dial up: connect your 2nd pc's modem to the phone line and continue with the process you know already i.e. phone number to ISP / username / password etc.
