I went out with my next door neighbor on a dat and my grandma was furious and she was saying" i Ayita! iNieta! What did I tell u about goign out with irish men? Don't u know they have bad tempers and they drink a lot?" I told her that he's a very sweet guys and he doesn't drink. Besides I can deal with a bad temper because I have one too.

I think the reason why she says these things is because her 1st husband befor emy grandfather was Irish and he was very abusive.

Your grandma's stereotyping. Where I live you hear about how latino men all have bad manners and drink but the only latino guy that I know is very polite and respectful, more than any other guy i've ever met actually.

I have an Irish friend who does drink quite a bit, but he's an absolute angel of a man. Instead of a temper, he has a great sense of humor!

Yes irish men have temper, once they get going. Easy tempered at first, but once it gets started its on.

like every other type of person there are those who are good and there are those who are bad. one should never judge an entire group saying the group is entirely good or bad. each of us is good and bad
