Do you bake? How about a cake or something like that. Simple and something they would enjoy.

When I was a nanny, I chose to set the table for a nice, quiet, romantic dinner for the couple in charge. I worked on a nice menu, and chose a good bottle of wine. When they were home and everything was settled, I took the baby out for evening and left the happy couple to enjoy their evening alone! They thought it was extremely sweet & thoughtful!

I think getting the baby something is okay but it's the parents that are suppose to give you a bonus & not the other way around. You work for them.

like someone said above "maybe something that you have cooked" or maybe you can get them a snow globe with something special inside. Whatever you give them i know they will be grateful.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

How about free babysitting for the night so they can enjoy a dinner out alone. Or a gift certificate for a restaurant.
