This name?!??!?

Is there any other way to spell Boaz then Boaz? I'm not planing on using the name or anything but I was just wondering. Can Boaz becspelled like Beauaz? Like you know Beau is pronounced the same way as Bo so woldn't it be ok to spell it like Beauaz?

Yeah Boaz is a name in the Old Testament. Its in the book of Ruth I think. And yeah Beauaz I just the way I thought of spelling and I think its kind of cool but I'm not sure that other people would be to fond of trying to figure out how to pronounce it.

these days it is perfectly acceptable for people to spell names in any way they see fit, along with combining two or more names to make a new name, or simply making up new names. so, your spelling of that name ought to be fine -- it may raise a few eyebrows and will cause a few folks to ask how you arrived at that choice of spelling, but you can choose to answer or not. me, i rather like it (smile)

I think Beauaz throws too many letters into the mix, honestly. I agree with a previous poster that Bohaz or Bowaz could be done, but really, I think it's best as Boaz.

Well, if you spell it Beauaz, some people might be confused on how to pronounce it. You can spell it "Bowaz" or "Bohaz" but I'm afraid the kid will be made fun of.

Boaz is a hard name to do.
