I recieved a check from my insurance company, and endorsed it, and made it payable to my aunt so she could deposit it in her account. Her bank accepted it and deposited it into her checking. My question is.... could the bank from which the funds are being drawn from have a problem with me endorsing it over to my aunt?

Well.. her husband is the manager at the bank where it was deposited so it shouldn't be a problem on that end. I was more concerned about if the bank where the funds were coming from would have a problem

Probably not but keep in mind once you endorse an insurance company check unless you have some other money owed to you for say rental car etc the ins company can consider the settlement paid in full.

The bank that your aunt has an account with shouldn't have a problem with you endorsing it over to her. The bank however may place a temp hold on the funds. You may want to call her bank & speak with a customer service rep regarding that.

There is not usually a problem with a third party check once the first bank accepts it.
