Go to "the Valley." Yah, California's San Fernando Valley is the headquarters for around 80% of most porno made today. When you get there, get a local guide to the Adult Porn Business (perhaps a local guide) will be available in paperback. I know they have Free Newspapers on the street with Advertising in them for actresses and audition calls, etc. I'm sure they do some in Texas, but I wouldn't know anything about it. Just do a search for "texas adult porn" or something like that.

Also, the jerk who said that crack about porn actors being more likely to contract AIDS is simply wrong if you're talking about ligitmate porn, not back alley crap. It's required in ligitmate porn that their actors be tested before they ever make their first film and to be tested regularly every six months.
Also, if there's even a rumor of someone in the industry having AIDS or HIV everyone is required to test upon demand from their studios.
There are plenty of ligimate professional porn studios, almost all of which are located in the San Fernando Valley in Califormia.
If you're serious about wanting to get into ligitmate porn, I'd start there.
Also, just so you know, WOMEN actors control every aspect of the ligitmate porn industry, from what they'll do, to whom.
Contract actresses make more films per year, but have the problem of being contracted into a set rate per film. Non-contract/free lance actresses usually do conciderably less films per year, but have the potential to make more money since they're not tied in to a contract with an specific studio.
Either way, you really should pack your bags and head out to Cali!

Most porn stars do not collect royalties, they are paid for their performance in a particular movie and that is the only money that they will receive. One of the few porn stars that collects royalties is Jenna Jameson, and that is because her and her husband own the porn company.

you shouldn't want to, I have done it before and now if i could go back and change that part of my life I damn sure would. If you have any self respect you would go to school and get a degree in something that you like to do besides sex.
you should try gettinga Massage Therapy diploma and do that I bet you would have better benefits in the long run. Financially and health wise

I think it usually starts with stripping - then photos for magazines - then you get an agent and market your "speciality" to producers and writers.
