Uuummm, get a new couch? Place a pillow over the spot??? Add more similar red wine spots on the rest of the couch make it look...stylish? Van Gogh art de canapé...lol.
Actually, I heard that white wine helps but you have to do it (I think) right away. Not sure if it would work after so long. Then again...not 100% sure its with white wine....but i believe it to be correct.

White wine or seltzer water are the home remedies. They also make some good red stain removers & wine removers these days found at most Targets/ Walmarts in the cleaners sections.

Wash it with wite wine. This is not a joke. If you get some white wine soaked into a white cloth and scrub the stain hard it will bring it out.

There is this stuff called "Nature's Miracle". It's a pet stain remover but works well for wine. I learned first hand because I spilled wine on my light colored carpet. It is stocked in most pet stores and some grocery stores.

Pour white wine on it and dab with a clean cloth. Do not rub it in, it will only make it worse.

that's going to be a tough one because the tannins in wine are pretty much like dye, you will need a professional furniture cleaner for permanent results
