Hydrocodone is a class B drug (just like tylonal) if used for short term problems
Controlled studies done on animals in reproduction do not indicate risk to the fetus.
No adequate and well-controlled studies done on pregnant women.

for any medication question check out http://www.safefetus.com they tell you the drug class and the safety issues during pregnancy and breastfeeding

YOu can't take them in the begining of your pregnancy but in the third trimester you can because your baby won't become dependent on them. I know this i have a two month year old and i was allowed too take them.
