I guess the ony way Ill get deffinitive internet access on my laptop is if I open an account w/ an i.s.p?

So tell me friends,what is my best bet?My priority is not to be paying like 50, 60 bucks a month for 2 yr.s.!
I see adds on the net that say earthlink offers like 6 months service 4 like $10.00!And some other adds go as low as $5.00 a month!So are these sweet deals really a sham ,or what?If they are what i.s.p do you's guys recommed?

Unless you are forking out the big bucks for broadband or dsl, you are stuck with dialup.
You have AOL/CompuServe, Earthlink, PeoplePC, Netzero, etc.
A lot of these will make you install a bunch of junk that hijacks your browser and clutters your system. And a lot of those prices you see in ads are introductory prices.
You should consider going with a local mom & pop outfit. All you really need for dialup is a phone number and a little bit of configuration. They shouldnt make you use some CD.

Another solution is that most cities are going WI-FI enabled to provide for free internet access... If you are lucky, you can get free internet access....
