Did i get the job?!@?
i had a group interview 3 wks ago, when everyone left the person takin the interview said i did really good. he gave me a work permit and documents but havent gotten a call since an i called 2 times but he wasnt in!! wht do i do?! did i evn get the job?!

they told us during the interview if we dont get a call in 48 hrs they dont need us. but he told me to give him a call cuz i didnt have my liscense # on me for them 2 do the background check

Chances are that they found a some one. But I would call and ask some one when the person would be in and call then if I still didn't get any answers I would look else where.

They probably got too busy. Call them and drop by. you would be amazed at how many people get a job and never show up. If they've filled the position, let them know that if it doesn't work out, you are ready to go straight away, however, are only available for the next two weeks to start, so create some urgency for them to call you before you move on.\
It's better to have more opportunities than none

nope, I don't think you got the job. I had in interview that went really well once and by not calling for 2 weeks they meant we don't need you. 3 weeks is a long time, 2 long, especially if they said 48 hours.

They were probably interested in you, but sorry to say, they probably found someone more qualified for the job. But don't get your hopes down, give a call back, if by the end of the week you don't get a call. They got some one. Good Luck!
