If there are 300 boxes total, and there are twice as many 25-pound boxes as 50-pound boxes, there must be 200 25-pound boxes and 100 50-pound boxes.

In equation form, where t is the number of 25-lb boxes and f is the number of 50-lb boxes:

2t = f
t + f = 300
Substitute 2t for f:
t + 2t = 300
3t = 300
t = 100, so f = 2(100) = 200

I don't think the first sentence is relevant. If they have to move 300 boxes, and there are twice as many 25 lb boxes as there are 50 lb boxes, then there are 200 twenty-five pound boxes and 100 fifty-lb. boxes.
