hey, I am going to be moving to Kuate soon. Normally I am good at blending in to different cultures, but I have never been to a place like Kuate before. Maybe you could help me?

what is viewed as inaapropriate to weat?

Will I be expected to wear a headscarf?
What is the role of women in a Kuate home?
how will I, as a young girl be expected to act?
are Kuates really that rich (I heard they where very rich)?

Kuwait is a very nice country. Go there with an open mind and an open heart. It is really nice that you are preparing yourself for the culture shock. Don't worry it takes a while for everyone to settle down when one moves from one place to another with a culture different from his. Try to appreciate things as they are. You will start understanding why they are like that after a while. Don't be judgemental. Respect and modesty are always appreciated everywhere in the world. It looks like you will be accompanying your father as a family member. Ask him before you act. If you are going on a work visa then you should stick with your employer and Kuwait's employment visa regulations. As for their being rich or otherwise, I will pass on my late father's advice to you: "He who values his own inteligence and other's wealth the most is the biggest fool of all times"
