I'm going to take the test in a month or so and I was just wondering what types of questions it had so I can prepare.

While I can't be certain that this is the exact test you will be given, it should be similar. Go to
http://www.njatc.org/training/apprenticeship/index.aspx
and click on the link- "Qualifying Score on an Aptitude Test" and a pop-up window appears with links to sample questions.

Please do not listen to these ignorant anti-union idiots! Unions are the best way to go for anyone in the construction industry. You should also consider commercial plumbing over residential because there is more work if you have the pipe fitters qualification. The test is just basic skills so you should easily pass it if you went through high school. However, if you wanna study, hit the library and study a GED book. It's that same level of questions. Good luck
