what are some good shows on mtv? i cant find anything worth watching now. is it just me or do others feel similarly.
i dont like yo mama, real world or the latest season of laguna beach. (seasons 1 & 2 of laguna beach were excellent though)
i dont like trl, and big and me is only midly amusing. whats hot? have they lost their touch?

I wish they went back to actually playing full length music videos. Instead of them showing just music video clips, filling air time with too much reality shows that does not involve music, or showing actual music videos during insomnia hours. They should rename themselves RTV (Reality TV) instead of MTV.

MTV jumped the shark 10 years ago. MTV stands for Music TeleVision. In a 24 hour day, they play music for 6 hours.
However, there are a couple shows I like:
- Pimp my Ride
- Parental Control - My current favorite. Some of the parents are hysterical.
- Date My Mom
The Real World is the same thing over and over again
I was in India last March, and they have MTV in India. Guess what, MTV in India actually plays music. They mix it up really well too, music from all over the world too.

I hate MTV these days. What's with the 24-hour marathons of lame reality shows? if you want music, you have to buy their premium channel. MTV used to be exciting and fresh when I was younger, Not it just caters to the lowest common denominator: stupidity and drinking. "My Super Sweet 16"????

I only watch the Real World/Road Rules Challenges. Those are entertaining. It comes on Thursdays.

Rob&Big is good, I like Made and True story and Laguna beach. that is about it though.
yeah they pretty much lost their touch though.

Watch Rob & Big. It's so odd its hilarious. Also The True Life series is pretty good.
