You shouldn't be forced to learn this stuff, which will only be relevant when you're at least 30.. It's better to be taught only Reading Comprehension, so you'll know how to learn History if it ever becomes relevant. By that I mean not being required to learn the facts of a passage, but to be able to analyze, for immediate and temporary discussion, what was meant and how it was written.

The real cause of the American Revolution was the Proclamation Act of 1763, which reserved the Midwest for Indians only. T'he British also felt that the colonists didn't do their fair share of the fighting against the French, so the answer to #1 should be D. In line with this resentment, Parliament felt that the colonists weren't paying anything for their protection from the French in the past 3 wars, so #2 should be C.

I think #3 is C. The "summer soldiers and sunshine patriots" weren't what they were cracked up to be. They, like the French, managed to show up at the right time though. The French joined in because of a few key victories. The King didn't have much money left, so he had to pick his spots.

Pardon me but I'll not keep my comments to myself in a public open forum. Those of you who GIVE the answers to homework questions are only adding to the "dumbing" of our students, you should be ashamed.
This poster has a raft of questions which are all history homework.

This looks like homework. I think we would be cheating you of valuable training and problem solving skills by answering these questions. You will be much farther ahead by solving them yourself.
