I haven't seen all of those but the ones that I have were all good, but missing some things that happened in the books. I would like to see lots of books made into movies but some of them would have so many people that they would be all messed up and it would have been better just leaving the a books. A few of books I would like to see made into movies would be any of the other star wars books and also the wheel of time books

Jurassic Park: Good movie, but they left out an awesome scene from the book when the TRex licks the little boy through a waterfall

Harry Potter series: should have left that alone completely. So much is missing I dont know where to start. People who havent read the series think they know everything about Harry Potter but the movies dont go into such detail

the Da Vinci Code: They were both great, but I would have had a different actor instead of Tom Hanks

I think they should make a movie out of this book called A Separate Peace. I know they made one a long time ago but I think they should re-make it. The original film was not too good
There is also a book that I think has no movie called A Day No Pigs Would Die

1) I will count the Harry Potter books/ movies as one... I think they are really well done, I would have enjoyed seeing Harry's cousin hit with the tongue candy in the forth one, and although the house elves are very costly, I would have enjoyed seeing a bit more of them.
2) Lord Of The Rings... Of course there was some stuff shuffled around throughout the books, and stuff omitted, but I wouldn't change the movies... they were very well done.
3) Narnia. I haven't read the books, but I have watched the movie... so can't say much here.
4) Bourne Identity. I once again haven't read the books, but would like to.
5) On a lesser note I have read, and watched The Da Vinci Code, which I thought the movie was alright, but could have been so much better.
Books I would like to see turned into movies...
1) The Cryptonomicron by, Neal Stephenson.
2) Map Of Bones by James Rollins.
3) American Gods by, Neil Gaiman.
4) Factoring Humanity by, Robert J. Sawyer.
5) Velocity by, Dean Koontz.
6) Snow Crash, By Neal Stephenson.
7) Thief Of Time by, Terry Pratchett
CyberNara

Jeffery Deaver
The Bone Collector-One thing I didn't like between the two is in the movie Lincoln Ryhmes is played by Denzel Washington...which I have no problem with, he did great...but in the book they mention Lincoln is a white guy.
James Patterson
Along Came A Spider

John Grisham
The Client
The Pelican Brief
The Firm
Run Away Jury

Every book ever turned into a movie is better as a book!

lord of the rings - the movie can stand on its own and supports the theme of the book. though there were details that were left out, the writer and the director were careful enough to make sure that the audience would still understand the movie even if they have not read the book. :)

devil wears prada - i haven't read the book yet, but the movie was excellent. it showed the status of assistants of big personalities and how they cope to be able to meet the demands of their bosses. :) people really get caught up with the fame and glory that they forget about the concerns of other people.

charlotte's web - the movie isn't out yet. i hope that they make a good interpretation of the book, since the story is a well-known children's story. :D

i want to see "the giver" made into a movie. the setting would be in black and white, with occasional flashes of colors. i just hope they keep an open-ended story, so that it would up to the audience to think what really happened to the boy.

The Shawshank Redemption - Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman, from the book 'Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption' by Stephen King. A favourite King novel of mine, starring two of my favourite actors.

Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings trilogy, from J. R. R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' - All of the grandeur and heroism and a lot less elfsong in the movie.

Martin Scorsese's Gangs of New York, from Herbert Asbury's 1928 novel. Truly excellent picture of the gang warfare in Civil War-era New York.

Gettysburg, from Michael Shaara's 'The Killer Angels'. An account of three of the bloodiest days of the Civil War. All-star cast and wonderfully told.

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo; wonderful novel made into a magnificent movie starring Liam Neeson and Geoffrey Rush, about the convict Jean Valjean and the policeman Javert who pursues him.

I would love to see Stephen King's 'Dark Tower' series made into a series of movies (I've already done the casting!) Also, John Sandford's 'Prey' series would translate very well to the big screen.

Harry Potter- I liked the first few books, and then started drifting off ... there were just too many and the movies didn't help either. I didn't think they were all that brilliant.
uh... yeah thats all I can think of... there are a ton of comics that have been made into movies.. superman, hellboy, fantastic four... all great movies. I imagine they'd be even better as comics because it was the original authors work...

Eragon: Great book, okay movie, but not good compared to the book. They left too much out. Way, way too much.
A Series of Unfortunate Events: I watched this before I read the books, but it was very good.
Narnia: I actually liked the movie better than the book... Very well-done, great acting, awesome music.
Ella Enchanted: Good book... Awful movie.

As far as books I'd like to see made into movies... They usually kill books, though Narnia was an exception. I'd rather just read the books.

a million) nicely first it could have eerie text cloth that suggested: What in case you probably did something which you will no longer take back? 2) and then it may zoom into style of a scene the place it relatively is like casual Friday with women and their boyfriends in simple terms chilling 3) and yet another female dancing in her room with the digicam on the outdoors 4) and yet another female and her mom talking 5) and extra eerie text cloth that asserts: in simple terms wait you would be next. cheesy because it particularly is. My tale is approximately those 3 women who're being stalked for something the did 2 years previously. techniques you it became terrible yet is that any reason to stalk? Huh. besides that's what i could want the trailer to look as though. Doubt anybody could come see it.
