I don't have great advice for you right now, but if it makes you feel any better to know there are others out there in the same situation at this very moment, I'm here. I am behind due to illness, I currently hate my job and I'm depressed too. Maybe you'll feel better after the holidays. This is a strange time of year and emotions can get weird.

Make sure you do get the work done though. You'll be more depressed if you lose your job.

Hang in there.

MONEY!! Remember, your previous jobs are all open to be used as references on your resume. Just remember everyone has to work, and pay the mortgage. Not everyone likes what they do. Some of the most powerful people worked diligently at the bottom of the ladder and moved up. Just do your best until you find a better job. And tell yourself every morning you love just having a job and appreciate the small things. Not to mention, at least you have a job. With this recession most once well off families are dying for jobs and having to make big sacrifices for their entire families.

If you're bored- what's the point of staying? If your unhappy with your job, what's keeping you from quitting? What I would do- give two weeks or whatever notice and then be motivated by the fact that I'm leaving soon. Value your time, we all have a limited time on this earth, so make the most of it at a job you enjoy rather than at a place you hate. Good luck!

Find what you like to do or what you are good at and search for a job in that area. Or go to college and get a degree that suits you, start your own business. The possibilities are endless!!
