Hi There!
I'm sure it was a scary & strange experience.
People can black out if they are over heated..ie winter coat on in a very warm store , etc. And if their blood pressure drops, or their sugar levels drop.
I on the other hand have fainted more times than I can count, mostly as a child, but throughout my life. But hardly not at all now. I was a fast, shallow breather...would hyperventilate and out I'd go. By passing out, my body adjusted my breathing and I'd come to. I could always tell when I was going to black out so I could get somewhere soft. Or I'd get to the floor. I have really bad nerves..am anxious a lot and breathed accordingly. So I had to learn how to breath right. Which I do most of the time. The rest of the times I can catch myself breathing fast and shallow (in and out fast) and correct my breathing.
I hope this info was helpful!
Take care! :)

Now you need to find out why, people don't faint for no reason. Call your Dr. as soon as possible for a check up. Best wishes.

Nothing to worry about, just rest and keep an eye on your fluid intake and make sure you eat enough, and maybe take it easy for a while.

yeah its scary

3 times I think

hasn't happened to me in awhile

once on a train I was standing and blacked out, just for a few seconds probably, stayed standing and wondered where I was and had to totally reorient myself.
