It's very cold over here in germany, and today it was also very foggy... Well.. i stayed in my room the whole day after school, now i went outside with my dog, and i wanted to yawn, but i couldn't, because i promptly had to choke... Is it because of the high air humidity? Did it make a difference, that i was inside the whole day?

because you are actually sucking in alot of moisture, and are drowning your lungs of oxygen.

*gasp* You live in Germany! That is so cool!

Okay, sorry, back to the question. I don't choke when I yawn in the fog, but maybe it's because it's less humid over here in the States.

I would think it's because of the humidity. Water entering the throat, even a misty fog, would probably induce the gag reflex.
