don't waste your time worrying about it until you can open it. If it turns out to be broken, exchange it. If not, who cares about the noise you heard. Plug that sucker in a start playing when the time comes.

it shouldnt have slid brother. I got a 360 for christmas last year and it didn't slide. Are you sure that the box you picked up is the 360? Maybe they have that hid somewhere else.

Maybe it's used. Or maybe there's something else in there besides a 360.

my friend had one and he told me there pretty fragile but if its in the box it might be fine im not sure

it shouldnt of slide at all, your box may have been tampered with
