innocence is not knowing about the bad things that go on around earth. its lost when you mature and learn how the world really is.

It is when you are still young and inexperienced enough to dream and wonder and plan for things that aren't even realistic.

Its mostly lost from bad people taking advantage of you in one way or another. Also, when you start working a job you really hate and realize you might have to do it for a few decades. That usually beats any innocence or idealism out of a person.

It's lost when you lose your virginity lol. Innocence is not knowing about the bad in the world i guess, or not having been affected by it. It's lost when things have a logical answer, like with death... not just the bulls*it story about how grandpa went up into the sky.

"Innocence and time," says a caption on a card I found in a fortune cookie, "once lost, can never be regained."

"Merry Xmas!"
