I don't mean "disrespect" someone just because they're not your boss anymore. I meant more like, at work you treat your boss differently from how you treat your friends, like you can't just make dirty jokes with your boss or pat them on the shoulders, you know, the "friends" behavior.

at that point he or she is your friend, shouldnt you treat him like your friend? unless you stopped keeping in touch with him. or her.

no, now he/she is just a friend.. your not on the clock... you can act how you want on your time. !
